The Asymmetric Grid Shell. Inspired by the structure of coral and natural sponges, the true dynamic complexity of these structures only becomes apparent as you walk around them to observe how the whole thing changes, looking through the very extravagant bespoke double layered grid shell, married to the smooth profiles of the organic shape. We have made a pair of these, which will debuted in early spring 2008, retailing from only £6500 each. There is a sculptural seat for two incorporated into the back wall of each one, perfect to sit in the garden, admiring the fragrant plants that can grow up the sculptural surfaces all around.
